Our Teacher

Robin Hoagland, CSB is an active member of The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, Massachusetts, a global movement of spiritual thinkers and healers committed to following the words and works of Christ Jesus.

Robin is a full-time practitioner available to the public for spiritual healing and has been an authorized teacher of Christian Science since 2006. Classes are taught once a year in Hyannis, MA, with an additional day of teaching and enrichment annually. The focus of Class Instruction and subsequent Association days is to nurture the spiritual growth of each student and support their ability to turn to God for answers for their own needs as well as for their families, churches, and communities.

Robin has had rich ecumenical and interfaith experiences from childhood on and has a great love for the individual journeys of every person of faith. Her own commitment to Christian Science began as a young adult and took root during her college years when she found it nourished her growing desire to understand God better, to feel a rich purpose for life, to find a reliable approach to health and wellness, and to experience strong and rewarding relationships. Through the practice of Christian Science, she’s experienced many significant healings of physical illnesses and injuries through prayer alone and has a deep desire to share this spiritual blessing with any “sincere seeker of Truth” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, p. x).
